THE ART OF JAPANESE FOOD

"Modern Yaki" is one of the most popular food in Japan. It is a type of Okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake) from western Japan where I was born and grew up. Although it looks something between pizza and pancake, the taste is totally different. It is hard to tell the taste without trying it, however I am very confident with the taste. The basic ingredients of the dough are flour, eggs, water, cabbage, soy milk, tofu and spring onion. Fried noodles will be sandwiched by the dough and fried egg.

They are grilled over a Japanese bincho charcoal fire. During or after cooking, the chicken is typically seasoned with Tare sauce or salt.

Sobameshi is the ultimate Japanese street food which Yakisoba and Yakimeshi (Japanese fried rice) combined. Comes with pork belly slices.

Karaage is Japanese fried chicken that is fried to perfection with a crisp texture on the outside and super juicy and tender on the inside. Add special sweet onion soy sauce on the top.

Yakisoba is also one of the most popular food in Japan. It is prepared by stir-frying noodles, cabbage, onions, carrots, and bean sprout and flavored with special sauce, salt and pepper. It is served with a multitude of garnishes, such as seaweed powder, shredded pickled ginger, and Japanese mayonnaise. On top of that, everyone will have choices for toppings from slices of premier pork belly, Wagyu beef yakiniku, Tamari chickens etc…
